Removal Procedure

    Engine Coolant Fan Upper Shroud(1) - Remove - Engine Coolant Fan Upper Shroud Replacement (LWN) , or Engine Coolant Fan Upper Shroud Replacement (LV1) , or Engine Coolant Fan Upper Shroud Replacement (L96, LC8)

    Fan Blade(1) - Remove - Fan Blade Replacement (LWN) , or Fan Blade Replacement (LV1) , or Fan Blade Replacement (L96, LC8)

    Engine Coolant Fan Rear Shroud(1) - Remove - Engine Coolant Fan Rear Shroud Replacement (LWN) , or Engine Coolant Fan Rear Shroud Replacement (LV1)

    Fan Blade Clutch Bolt(1) - Remove

  5. Engine Wiring Harness(2) @ Fan Blade Clutch - Disconnect

    Install a suitable blunt end tool (3) into one of the holes in the fan pulley preventing the pulley from turning allowing the fan clutch to be removed.

  7. Install J-41240-2  fan clutch wrench (1) with a long breaker bar (2) onto the fan hub nut.
  8. Turn the fan blade clutch nut counterclockwise to remove the fan pulley.
  9. Remove J-41240-2  fan clutch wrench (1) with a long breaker bar (2) from the fan hub nut.
  10. Remove the suitable blunt end tool (3) from the fan pulley.
