Removal Procedure

  1. Air Cleaner Assembly - Remove - Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement
  2. Drain the engine oil. Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement

    Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe(2) @ Radiator - Remove and position aside - Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe Replacement (M5U)

    Engine Oil Cooler Fitting Cap(1) - Reposition

  5. Engine Oil Cooler Connector Retainer(2) - Remove
  6. Retainer(3) - Unclip
  7. Engine Oil Cooler Pipe @ Radiator - Remove

    Engine Oil Cooler Fitting Cap(1) - Reposition

  9. Engine Oil Cooler Connector Retainer(2) - Remove
  10. Engine Oil Cooler Pipe @ Radiator - Remove
  11. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

    Engine Oil Cooler Hose Bracket Nut(1) - Remove

    Engine Oil Cooler Inlet Pipe Bolt(1) - Remove[2x]

    NOTE:

    Note the routing and orientation of the engine oil cooler pipe to insure proper installation.

    Engine Oil Cooler Pipe(1) - Remove

  15. Oil Pan Cover Gasket(2) - Remove and DISCARD
