Installation Procedure

- Oil Pan Cover Gasket(2) - Install a NEW gasket.
- Engine Oil Cooler Hose(1) - Install
- CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
Engine Oil Cooler Hose Bolt(1) - Install and tighten[2x] 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
- {If equipped} Connect the engine coolant heater cord to the engine coolant heater.
Engine Oil Cooler Hose Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
- Install the engine wiring harness to the engine oil cooler hose bracket bolt (1).
Engine Oil Cooler Hose Clip (1) - Install
Engine Oil Cooler Pipe(2) @ Engine Oil Cooler Connector - Connect - Engine Oil Cooler Pipe/Hose Quick Connect Fitting Replacement
- Engine Oil Cooler Pipe(1) @ Engine Oil Cooler Connector - Connect - Engine Oil Cooler Pipe/Hose Quick Connect Fitting Replacement
- Fill the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LWN) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716 LWN) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static LC8, LV1, L96) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE47716 LC8, LV1, L96)
- Fill the engine oil to the proper level with NEW engine oil. Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement
