Circuit/System Verification

Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
Verify DTC P0480, P0691, P0692 is not set.
- If DTC P0480, P0691, P0692 is set
  Refer to: Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle
- Go to next step: If DTC P0480, P0691, P0692 is not set
Perform the scan tool control function: Cooling Fan - 0 to 90%
Verify the component turns On and Off: K22 Cooling Fan Control Module
- If the component does not turn On and Off
  Refer to: Cooling Fan Inoperative
- Go to next step: If the component turns On and Off
Verify the following conditions do not exist:
- Engine - Overheating Refer to: Engine Overheating
- Low Fluid Level - Coolant Refer to: Loss of Coolant
- If a condition exists - Repair or replace as necessary
- Go to next step: If no condition exists
Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets
  Refer to: Symptoms - Engine Cooling
- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
All OK.
