Circuit/System Verification

Ignition ON.
Verify that DTC P0483 is not set.
- If a DTC is set
  Refer to DTC P0483 .
- Go to next step: If no DTC is set.
Verify the scan tool Cooling Fan Motor Command parameter is less than 4 %.
- If 4 % or greater
  Refer to Diagnostic Aids and Symptoms - Engine Cooling for further diagnosis.
- Go to next step: If less than 4 %
Verify that the Q85 Cooling Fan Clutch is not operating.
- If the Q85 Cooling Fan Clutch is operating
  Test or replace the K20 Engine Control Module.
- Go to next step: If the Q85 Cooling Fan Clutch is not operating
All OK.
