Installation Procedure

Install the lock (1) to the vehicle.
- Install the lock (1) to the right side rear door.
- Install the 3 screws (2) in order to retain the lock (1) to the right side rear door and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Connect the electrical connector to the lock (1).
- Install the lock rods (3, 4, 5) to the lock (1).
- Install the right side rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side 60/40 Door Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (E24, 40 Door) , or Rear Side 60/40 Door Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (E24, 60 Door) .
