WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2019 GMC Savana 3500, 2019 GMC Savana 2500, 2019 Chevrolet Express 3500, and 2019 Chevrolet Express 2500. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Ignition OFF
- Disconnect the X7 harness connector at the K9 Body Control Module, ignition ON.
- Momentarily connect a 3A fused jumper wire between the control circuit terminal 2 and B+.
- Verify the M13 Door Latch Assembly- Rear Cargo activates.
- If the M13 Door Latch Assembly- Rear Cargo does not activate
- Ignition OFF, remove the jumper wire, disconnect the X1 harness connector at the X52A Fuse Block-Passenger Compartment.
- Test for infinite resistance between the K9 Body Control Module control circuit terminal 2 X7 and ground.
- If less than Infinite resistance, repair the short to ground on the circuit.
- Go to next step: If infinite resistance
- Test for less than 2 Ω in the control circuit end to end.
- If 2 Ω or greater, repair the open/high resistance in the circuit.
- If less than 2 Ω, test or replace the 52A Fuse Block-Passenger Compartment.
- Go to next step: If the M13 Door Latch Assembly- Rear Cargo activates
- Replace the K9 Body Control Module.
