Component Testing

Door Lock Switch
- Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the appropriate S13 Door Lock Switch.
- Test for infinite resistance between the signal terminal and the ground terminal listed below with the switch in the center position.
- Signal terminal F and the ground terminal A @ S13D Door Lock Switch-Driver
- Signal terminal G and the ground terminal A @ S13D Door Lock Switch-Driver
- Signal terminal F and the ground terminal A @ S13P Door Lock Switch-Passenger
- Signal terminal G and the ground terminal A @ S13P Door Lock Switch-Passenger
- Signal terminal A and the ground terminal E @ S13A Door Lock Switch-Rear Cargo
- Signal terminal D and the ground terminal E @ S13A Door Lock Switch-Rear Cargo
- If less than infinite resistance
Replace the S13 Door Lock Switch.
- Go to next step: If infinite resistance
- Test for less than 2 Ω between the signal terminal and the ground terminal listed below with the switch in the Lock position.
- Signal terminal G and the ground terminal A @ S13D Door Lock Switch-Driver
- Signal terminal G and the ground terminal A @ S13P Door Lock Switch-Passenger
- Signal terminal D and the ground terminal E @ S13A Door Lock Switch-Rear Cargo
- If 2 Ω or greater
Replace the S13 Door Lock Switch.
- Go to next step: If less than 2 Ω
- Test for less than 2 Ω between the signal terminal and the ground terminal listed below with the switch in the Unlock position.
- Signal terminal F and the ground terminal A @ S13D Door Lock Switch-Driver
- Signal terminal F and the ground terminal A @ S13P Door Lock Switch-Passenger
- Signal terminal A and the ground terminal E @ S13A Door Lock Switch-Rear Cargo
- If 2 Ω or greater
Replace the S13 Door Lock Switch.
- Go to next step: If less than 2 Ω
- All OK
