Installation Procedure

If necessary, install the starter heat shield (2) to the starter solenoid (1).
Install the transmission cover (2) and the starter (3) into position on the flywheel.
- Transmission Cover Bolt(1) - Install and tighten12 N.m (106 lb in)
Starter(3) - Install
- Starter Bolt(1) - Install and tighten[2x]50 N.m (37 lb ft)
- Electrical Connector(2) - Connect
Battery Positive Cable(1) - Install
- Battery Positive Cable Nut(2) - Install and tighten9 N.m (80 lb in)
- Lower the vehicle.
- Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Single Battery) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Dual Battery)
