Removal Procedure

- Remove the radiator surge tank. Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LWN)
Air Cleaner Assembly(1) - Remove - Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement
Battery Positive Cable Fastener(1) - Remove
- Battery Positive Cable(2) - Reposition away
Battery Positive Cable Retainer(1) - Disengage[5x]
Junction Block Cover (2) - Remove
- Battery Positive Cable Nut(1) - Remove
- Battery Positive Cable(3) - Remove
- Remove the engine cover. Engine Cover Replacement
Retainer Clip(1) - Disengage
- Battery Positive Cable Terminal Boot (2) - Remove
- Battery Positive Cable Nut(3) - Remove
- Battery Positive Cable(4) - Remove
Battery Positive Cable Retainer Bolt (2) - Remove
- Battery Positive Cable(1) - Reposition away
- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
Battery Positive Cable Nut(1)@Starter Solenoid(3) - Remove
- Battery Positive Cable(2) - Remove
- Lower the vehicle.
- Remove the battery positive cable from the vehicle.
