Removal Procedure

Remove the radiator surge tank. Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LWN)

Battery Positive Cable Fastener(1) - Loosen
Battery Positive Cable Retainer(2) - Disengage[2x]
Battery Positive Cable(3) - Reposition away

Battery Positive Cable Terminal Boot (1) - Remove
Battery Positive Cable Nut(4) - Remove
Battery Positive Cable(3)@Relay(2) - Remove

Battery Positive Cable Retainer(1) - Disengage[5x]

Junction Block Cover (2) - Remove
Battery Positive Cable Nut(1) - Remove
Battery Positive Cable(3) - Remove
Remove the engine cover. Engine Cover Replacement

Retainer Clip(1) - Disengage
Battery Positive Cable Terminal Boot (2) - Remove
Battery Positive Cable Nut(3) - Remove
Battery Positive Cable(4) - Remove

Battery Positive Cable Retainer Bolt (2) - Remove
Battery Positive Cable(1) - Reposition away
Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

Battery Positive Cable Nut(1)@Starter Solenoid(3) - Remove
Battery Positive Cable(2) - Remove
Lower the vehicle.
Remove the battery positive cable from the vehicle.
