Removal Procedure

- Disconnect the primary and auxiliary battery negative cables. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Single Battery) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Dual Battery)
- Disconnect the auxiliary battery positive cable. Auxiliary Battery Positive Cable Replacement (L96, LC8, LV1 - Long Wheelbase) Auxiliary Battery Positive Cable Replacement (L96, Lc8, LV1 - Short Wheelbase) Auxiliary Battery Positive Cable Replacement (LWN - Short Wheelbase) Auxiliary Battery Positive Cable Replacement (LWN - Long Wheelbase)
Loosen the upper auxiliary tray mounting bolts (1).
- Auxiliary Battery Tray Mounting Bolt (3) - Remove[2x]
- Slide the auxiliary battery tray (4) and the auxiliary battery (2), to the opening in the auxiliary battery tray.
- Lower the auxiliary battery and tray.
Auxiliary Battery Hold Down Bolt(3)@Auxiliary Battery Tray(1) - Remove
- Auxiliary Battery Hold Down Retainer (4) - Remove
- Auxiliary Battery(2) - Remove
