Component Testing

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2019 GMC Savana 3500, 2019 GMC Savana 2500, 2019 Chevrolet Express 3500, and 2019 Chevrolet Express 2500. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Connect a 3 A fused jumper wire between the test points: 5 V Reference terminal 3 & 5 V
  2. Connect a jumper wire between the test points: Low Reference terminal 1 & Ground
  3. Test for 2. 5 to 4. 0 V between the test points: Signal terminal 2 & Low Reference terminal 1
    • If not between 2. 5 and 4. 0 V 

      Replace the component: B310 Fuel Pressure/Temperature Sensor

    • Go to next step: If between 2. 5 and 4. 0 V 
  4. All OK.
