2 - 3 - 4 - 6 - 8 Clutch Applies

2 - 3 - 4 - 6 - 8 Control Solenoid

The 2-3-4-6-8 control solenoid energizes allowing line fluid to enter the S4 VFS SIG fluid circuit which applies pressure against the S4 vfs accumulator spring force and against the 23468 control valve spring force. This allows 13567 CL/23468 CL FD fluid to enter the 23468 CLU fluid circuit. 13567 CL/23468 CL FD fluid also passes thru the 23468 control valve orifice #39 into FDBK. 23468 CLUTCH fluid is directed to the #10 ball check valve and thru orifice #44 to the 23468 clutch assembly housing.

2 - 3 - 4 - 6 - 8 Clutch Assembly

The 23468 CLU fluid passes thru orifice #44 continuing to the 2-3-4-6-8 clutch assembly housing. 23468 CLUTCH fluid applies pressure against the 23468 clutch piston which applies holding pressure to the 2-3-4-6-8 clutch plates.
