Component Testing

Static Test

  1. Place the B9 Ambient Air Temperature Sensor in a stable, temperature-controlled area for at least 10 minutes, then measure the resistance between sensor signal terminal A (or 1) and the low reference circuit terminal B (or 2).
  2. Compare the readings with the Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Resistance 
    • If not in the specified range 

      Replace the component: B9 Ambient Air Temperature Sensor

    • Go to next step: If in the specified range 
  3. All OK.
