Removal Procedure
WARNING:
Refer to Brake Fluid Irritant Warning .
CAUTION:
Refer to Brake Fluid Effects on Paint and Electrical Components Caution .
- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
- Remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Without Dual Rear Wheels) , or Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (With Dual Rear Wheels)
- Clean all dirt and foreign material from the brake hose ends and the brake pipe fitting.
- NOTE:
Use a backup wrench at the front brake hose when loosening the front brake pipe fitting.
Front Brake Pipe Fitting (1) @ Front Brake Hose (2) - Remove
Front Brake Pipe Clip (1) @ Front Brake Hose (2) - Remove
- Cap the brake pipe fitting and the brake hose end to prevent fluid loss and contamination.
Front Brake Hose Fitting Bolt (2) @ Front Brake Hose (1) - Remove
- Front Brake Hose Fitting Gasket (3) - Remove and DISCARD [2x]
- Cap the brake caliper inlet port to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
Front Wheel Speed Sensor (1) @ Front Brake Hose (3) - Unclip
- Front Brake Hose Bolt (2) @ Front Brake Hose (3) - Remove [2x]
- Front Brake Hose (3) - Remove
