Removal Procedure
WARNING:
Refer to Brake Fluid Irritant Warning .
CAUTION:
Refer to Brake Fluid Effects on Paint and Electrical Components Caution .
- Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace- Left Side - Remove - Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace Replacement - Left Side
- Place a clean shop cloth beneath the brake master cylinder to catch brake fluid spills.
- Using a suitable tool, remove and properly dispose of the brake fluid from the brake master cylinder reservoir.
- Electrical Connector @ Brake Fluid Level Indicator Switch - Disconnect
- Wiring Harness @ Brake Master Cylinder - Disconnect and reposition harness as necessary.
Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Pipe Nut - Front (1) - Disconnect
- Cap the brake pipe fitting and plug the brake master cylinder outlet port to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
- Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Pipe Nut - Rear (2) - Disconnect
- Cap the brake pipe fitting and plug the brake master cylinder outlet port to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
Brake Master Cylinder Nut (1) - Remove [2x]
- Brake Master Cylinder (2) - Remove
