Assembly Procedure

CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .

Front Brake Caliper Bleeder Valve (2) - Install and hand tighten
Front Brake Caliper Bleeder Valve Cover (1) - Install
Apply a thin coat of brake fluid from a clean, sealed brake fluid container to the brake caliper bore. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers

Front Brake Caliper Piston Seal (1) @ Front Brake Caliper Bore - Install [2x]
Ensure that the seals are not twisted.

Apply a thin coat of brake fluid from a clean, sealed brake fluid container to the brake caliper piston boot. (1) [2x] Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers

Install the caliper piston and boot (1) to the caliper bore.

[2x]
1. Seat the boot into the brake caliper bore groove. Slide the piston into the brake caliper bore.
2. Push down the piston to the bottom of the brake caliper bore.
3. Ensure the boot seats properly into the piston groove and into the groove in the brake caliper bore.
4. Repeat steps 8.1 through 8.3 for the remaining piston.
Install the brake caliper to the vehicle. Front Brake Caliper Replacement (JH6) , or Front Brake Caliper Replacement (JH9) .
Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) , or Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual)
