Installation Procedure
- Lubricate the front brake caliper bushings, bolts and seals with high temperature silicone brake lubricant. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
Brake Caliper Guide Pin Bushing (1) - Install NEW [2x]
Brake Caliper Guide Pin Seal (1) - Install NEW [2x]
Brake Caliper (1) - Install
- CAUTION:
Brake Caliper Guide Pin Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Front Brake Caliper Guide Pin Replacement (JH6) , or Front Brake Caliper Guide Pin Replacement (JH9)
- Install the front tire and wheel assemblies. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Without Dual Rear Wheels) , or Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (With Dual Rear Wheels)
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
- With the engine OFF, gradually apply the brake pedal to approximately 2/3 of its travel distance.
- Slowly release the brake pedal.
- Wait 15 seconds, then repeat steps 8 and 9 until a firm brake pedal is obtained. This will properly seat the brake caliper pistons and brake pads.
