Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Replacement: Notes

Removal Procedure

1. Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel - Remove - Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement

   Radiator Air Upper Baffle(1) - Remove - Radiator Air Upper Baffle Replacement (LWN)Radiator Air Upper Baffle Replacement (LV1)Radiator Air Upper Baffle Replacement (L96, LC8)

   Disconnect the cable end retainer (1) from the latch.

   Remove the hood primary latch release cable handle (2)

5. Remove the hood primary latch release cable retainer from the wiring harness by the master cylinder.
6. Disconnect the cable from the handle (2) and attach mechanics wire to the cable.
7. Pull the cable into the passenger compartment and remove.
