Installation Procedure

  1. Fig 1: Identifying Transmission Oil Level Check Plug

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution .

    Install the transmission oil level check plug (1) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  2. Check the transmission fluid level and fill if necessary. Transmission Fluid Level and Condition Check .
  3. Lower the vehicle.
