Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Base) , or Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ZL1) , or Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Convertible)
  2. Place a suitable drain pan under the automatic transmission.
  3. Fig 1: Exploded View Of Transmission Fluid Pan, Bolts, Filter And Gasket Components

    Clean the surrounding area of the automatic transmission fluid pan (2).

  4. Remove the automatic transmission fluid pan bolts (1).
  5. Remove the automatic transmission fluid pan (2).
  6. Remove the automatic transmission fluid pan gasket (3).
