Removal Procedure

  1. Clutch Assembly - Remove - Clutch Assembly Replacement (M13 Transmission) , or Clutch Assembly Replacement (MJK, MH3, MM6)

    NOTE:

    Note the position and direction of the engine flywheel before removal. The flywheel does not use a locating pin for alignment. Mark or scribe the end of the crankshaft and the flywheel before component removal. The existing manual transmission engine flywheel must be installed to the original position and direction.

    Mark or scribe the end of the crankshaft and the manual transmission flywheel.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Install the EN-46106  Flywheel Holding Tool and bolts.

    NOTE:

    Do NOT reuse the flywheel bolts.

    Remove and DISCARD the flywheel bolts (2).

  5. Remove the manual transmission flywheel (1).
  6. Note the location of the manual transmission flywheel balance weights, if applicable.
  7. Remove the EN-46106  Flywheel Holding Tool.
