1	Exhaust Camshaft Position Actuator Bank 1 CAUTION: Ensure the proper camshaft position actuator is installed in the correct position. Failure to install the proper camshaft position actuator can effect engine performance and set an engine code. CAUTION: Refer to Torque Reaction Against Timing Drive Chain Caution . Procedure Use an open wrench on the hex cast into the camshaft in order to prevent camshaft rotation when tightening the camshaft position actuator bolt. Apply a liberal amount of lubricant to the back of the camshaft position actuator and front of the camshaft bearing cap. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
2	Camshaft Position Actuator Bolt [2x] CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten First Pass: 20 N.m (15 lb ft) Final Pass: 45 degrees
3	Intake Camshaft Position Actuator Bank 1 Procedure Use an open wrench on the hex cast into the camshaft in order to prevent camshaft rotation when tightening the camshaft position actuator bolt. Apply a liberal amount of lubricant to the back of the camshaft position actuator and front of the camshaft bearing cap. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers

Tighten

First Pass: 20 N.m (15 lb ft)
Final Pass: 45 degrees
