Camshaft Assemble

Callout	Component Name
1	Exhaust Camshaft - Right Side NOTE: Laser Etched or ID flats- Correct Camshaft Location - Bank 1 (A) Procedure Make sure the camshaft flats with laser etched markings are straight up in relation to the cylinder head and that the crankshaft is in the stage 2 position. The crankshaft key way will be at approximately the 3 o'clock position. Timing Chain Alignment Diagram Ensure the flat is facing upward when installed to help when installing timing chains.
2	Intake Camshaft - Right Side NOTE: Laser Etched or ID flats- Correct Camshaft Location - Bank 1 (B) Procedure Make sure the camshaft flats with laser etched markings are straight up in relation to the cylinder head and that the crankshaft is in the stage 2 position. The crankshaft key way will be at approximately the 3 o'clock position. Timing Chain Alignment Diagram Ensure the flat is facing upward when installed to help when installing timing chains.
