Camshaft Assemble

Callout	Component Name
1	Intake Camshaft - Left Side NOTE: Laser Etched or ID flats- Correct Camshaft Location - Bank 2 (C) Procedure Make sure the camshaft flats with laser etched markings are straight up in relation to the cylinder head and that the crankshaft is in the stage 1 position. The crankshaft key way will be at approximately the 11 o'clock position. Timing Chain Alignment Diagram Ensure the flat is facing upward when installed to help when installing timing chains.
2	Exhaust Camshaft - Left Side NOTE: Laser Etched or ID flats- Correct Camshaft Location - Bank 2 (D) Procedure Make sure the camshaft flats with laser etched markings are straight up in relation to the cylinder head and that the crankshaft is in the stage 1 position. The crankshaft key way will be at approximately the 11 o'clock position. Timing Chain Alignment Diagram Ensure the flat is facing upward when installed to help when installing timing chains.
