Installation Procedure

- NOTE:
Always install the camshaft position sensor O-ring (3) supplied with the NEW camshaft position sensor. If reinstalling the sensor, inspect the camshaft position sensor O-ring (3) and replace as necessary. Lubricate the camshaft position sensor O-ring (3) with clean engine oil prior to installing the camshaft position sensor.
Camshaft Position Sensor (2) - Install
- Camshaft Position Sensor Bolt (1) - Install and tighten 10 N.m (89 lb in).
Camshaft Position Sensor Electrical Connector (1) @ Camshaft Position Sensor (2) - Connect
Positive Crankcase Ventilation Tube Retainer (1) - Install
- Positive Crankcase Ventilation Tube @ Air Cleaner Outlet Duct - Connect - Positive Crankcase Ventilation Hose/Pipe/Tube Replacement (Air Outlet Duct to PCV Oil Separator) , or Positive Crankcase Ventilation Hose/Pipe/Tube Replacement (Air Outlet Duct to Camshaft Covers)
- Intake Manifold Cover Replacement - Install
