Circuit/System Verification

NOTE:

Cold Start-Up = Required

Engine idling.
Verify the scan tool parameter:
- Cylinder 1 Current Misfire Counter = Less than 1
- Cylinder 2 Current Misfire Counter = Less than 1
- Cylinder 3 Current Misfire Counter = Less than 1
- Cylinder 4 Current Misfire Counter = Less than 1
- Cylinder 5 Current Misfire Counter = Less than 1
- Cylinder 6 Current Misfire Counter = Less than 1
- If greater than 1
1. Ignition/Vehicle - Off
2. Verify the following conditions do not exist:
  - Fuel pressure low or high. Refer to: Fuel System Diagnosis (without NPP) , or Fuel System Diagnosis (with NPP) .
  - Contaminated or poor quality fuel. Refer to: Alcohol/Contaminants-in-Fuel Diagnosis
  - If a condition exists - Repair or replace as necessary
  - If no condition exists - Replace the component: Q17 Fuel Injector
- Go to next step: If less than 1
All OK.
