CAUTION:This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component.
Automatic Transmission Fluid Baffle Bolt (1) - Remove and DISCARD M6 x 25 [2x]
- Automatic Transmission Fluid Baffle (2) - Remove
- The driven sprocket (3) locking tab is located on the back of the sprocket.
- Rotate the driven sprocket (3) as shown and simultaneously pull back and up on the tab to release the retainer.
- Remove the driven sprocket (3) from the oil pump shaft leaving the drive link (chain) loose in the case.

Manual Shift Detent Lever Spring Bolt (1) - Remove M6 x 25
- Manual Shift Detent Lever Spring (2) - Remove
- Electrical Connector@Automatic Transmission Control Wiring Harness (3) - Disconnect
- Electrical Connector@Automatic Transmission Wiring Harness (4) - Disconnect
- Manual Valve (5) - Disconnect
- DT-48285 Valve Body Torx Plus Socket - Remove Control Valve Solenoid Body Bolt (6) M6 x 68 [7x]
- DT-48285 Valve Body Torx Plus Socket - Remove Control Valve Solenoid Body Bolt (7) M6 x 45 [4x]
- Control Valve Body Assembly
- DT-48285 Valve Body Torx Plus Socket - Remove and DISCARD (8) Output Speed Sensor Bolt M6 x 25 [3x]
- Automatic Transmission Output Speed Sensor Wiring Harness (9) - Remove
- Clutch Housing Fluid Passage Seal (10) - Remove and DISCARD
Do not remove all the bolts in the control valve body assembly. Remove only the bolts indicated.
Use care when handling the control valve body assembly. If dropped, damage to the control solenoid valve body assembly internal components may result.
