Removal Procedure

- Front Compartment Lower Noise Shield - Remove - Front Compartment Lower Noise Shield Replacement (Coupe - LGX, LTG)
- Drain the engine oil. Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement
- Engine Front Cover - Remove - Engine Front Cover Replacement
- Unbolt and reposition the A/C compressor. Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement (LTG)
Catalytic Converter Brace Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Catalytic Converter Brace Bracket (2) - Remove
- Oil Pump Flow Control Valve Heat Shield - Remove - Oil Pump Flow Control Valve Heat Shield Replacement
- Engine Oil Cooler - Remove - Engine Oil Cooler Replacement (LTG)
Wiring Harness Retainer (1) - Unclip [2x]
- Wiring Harness Connector (2) - Disconnect
Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe@Transmission - Remove Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe Replacement (LTG With M5T, Without V03) , or Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe Replacement (LTG With M5T, With V03)
Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Nut (1) - Remove [2x]
- Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe (2) - Reposition away [2x]
- Drivetrain and Front Suspension Cradle - Remove - Drivetrain and Front Suspension Cradle Removal and Installation (LTG)
Transmission Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
Transmission Bolt (1) - Remove
- NOTE:
Note the location of the short, medium and long length bolts for proper installation.
Upper Oil Pan Bolt (1, 2, 3) - Remove [13x]
- Upper Oil Pan (2) - Remove
- Upper Oil Pan (2) - Clean and inspect - Oil Pan Cleaning and Inspection
- Transfer components as necessary.
NOTE:
Do not disconnect the AC lines.
