Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Left Side

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Oil Pump Flow Control Valve Heat Shield Replacement
  2. Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement
  3. Carefully lower the drivetrain and front suspension cradle. Drivetrain and Front Suspension Cradle Removal and Installation (LTG)
1 Engine Mount Bracket Fastener [4x]
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

NOTE:

Engine mount brackets are magnesium. To prevent galvanic corrosion, the bracket bolt includes a pressed-on aluminum washer. Ensure the washer is in place and not damaged. Replace the bolt if the washer is damaged or missing.


Tighten 
58 N.m (43 lb ft)
2 Engine Mount Bracket
NOTE:

Engine mount brackets are magnesium. To prevent galvanic corrosion, the bracket includes pressed on spacers on the back side. Even though it is highly unlikely, the pressed on spacers may loosen and fall off during engine mount bracket removal. Ensure the spacers are in place before reinstalling an existing bracket.
