Drive Belt Replacement

Preliminary Procedure

  1. If equipped with engine RPO code LCV, remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (Non-Tamperproof) , or Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (Tamperproof) .
1 Drive Belt

Procedure

  1. Use the proper tool to rotate the drive belt tensioner.
  2. Remove the drive belt from the pulleys and tensioner.
2 Drive Belt Tensioner

Procedure

  1. Clean and inspect the drive belt surfaces of all the pulleys.
  2. Inspect the drive belt for correct alignment.
