Removal Procedure

- Release the electronic parking brake.
- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Base) , or Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ZL1) , or Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Convertible)
- Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Disconnect
- Cap the brake pipe fitting to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
Brake Hose Retainer (1) - Remove
Brake Hose Fitting Bolt (1) - Remove
- NOTE:
Do not reuse the brake hose fitting gaskets.
Brake Hose Fitting Gasket (1) [2x] @ Brake Hose Fitting (2) - Remove and DISCARD
- Plug the brake caliper inlet to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
- Brake Hose - Remove
