Removal Procedure

Brake Fluid Irritant Warning

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Base) , or Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ZL1) , or Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Convertible)
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
  3. Front Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement - Remove

    Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Disconnect

  5. Cap the brake pipe fitting to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.

    Brake Hose Retainer (1) - Remove

    Wheel Speed Sensor Harness Clip (1) @ Brake Hose - Release [2x]

    Bolt (1) - Remove

    Brake Hose Fitting Bolt (1) - Remove

    NOTE:

    Do not reuse the brake hose fitting gaskets.

    Brake Hose Fitting Gasket (1) [2x] @ Front Brake Hose (2) - Remove and DISCARD

  11. Front Brake Hose - Remove
