Installation Procedure

Install the 12 hydraulic valve lash adjusters (1) in the bores in the cylinder head.
- Apply lubricant to the 12 hydraulic valve lash adjusters (1). Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers (Europe LV7) , or Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers (Europe L5Q) , or Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers (North America LV7) , or Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers (North America L5Q) .
- Install the hydraulic valve lash adjuster arm. Refer to Hydraulic Valve Lash Adjuster Arm Replacement , or Hydraulic Valve Lash Adjuster Arm Replacement (LV7) .
