Removal Procedure

- Remove the positive crankcase ventilation tube (front). Refer to Positive Crankcase Ventilation Tube Replacement (Front) .
Loosen the air cleaner outlet duct clamp (2) and position the air cleaner outlet duct (1) away from the engine.
Using a suitable tool, cut a slot in the tamper-resistant positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) bolt heads (4) and remove with a flat-bladed tool. Discard bolts (4).
- Remove the air cleaner outlet duct assembly (1) with the positive crankcase ventilation tube (2) and valve (3) from the engine. Discard the assembly (2, 3, 4).
