Installation Procedure

Remove the surge tank fixing bolts and set aside.

NOTE:
For engine L5Q without engine lift front bracket.

Install the EN-51698 engine lift bracket (2) into the engine block bore.

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the bolt (1) and tighten to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

NOTE:
A second technician is required.

Install the EN-51007-1 adapter (1) with the EN-28467-300 engine support fixture adapter (2) on the front compartment upper side rail.

NOTE:
The 2 feet of the rakes should be placed as far as possible in the direction as shown.

Install the EN-51007-3 adapters (4) to the EN-51007-1 adapter (1) with the EN-51007-5 adapters (6) on the front end upper tie bar (2, 5).

Tighten the EN-51007-3 adapters (2) to the EN-51007-1 adapter (1) by tighten it with the EN-51007-4 adapters (3).

Install the 3 EN-51007-6 adapters (1) into the 3 engine lift brackets (2).
When the tool assembly EN-51007 support fixture is under load, adjust complete assemble and re-tighten ALL fasteners.
