Hood Adjustment

Procedure

1. Loosen the 4 hood hinge nuts.
2. Adjust the hood in order to obtain an even gap on both sides between the hood and the fenders, the front grille and headlamps.
3. Loosen and adjust the hood primary and secondary latch and the hood bumpers as necessary to obtain the adjustment.

Adjustment Procedure

• Hood to body side outer panel (a) 3.0 mm ±.75 mm (0.12 in ± 0.03 in)
• Hood to fender (b) 3.0 mm ± 1.0 mm (0.12 in ± 0.04 in)
• Hood to headlamp (c) 3.9 mm ± 1.5 mm (0.15 in ± 0.059 in)
• Hood to headlamp (d) 4.7 mm ± 1.5 mm (0.18 in ± 0.059 in)
• Hood to headlamp (e) 5.5 mm ± 1.5 mm (0.21 in ± 0.059 in)
• Hood to fascia (f) 6 mm ± 1.75 mm (0.24 in ± 0.069 in)
