Ignition and Start Switch Replacement (Trax, Without BTM)

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (without KL9)Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (with KL9)
  2. Reposition the steering column upper trim cover as necessary. Steering Column Upper Trim Cover Replacement (Trax, Without BTM)
  3. Ignition Lock Cylinder Opening Trim Cover Replacement 
  4. Steering Column Lower Trim Cover Replacement (Trax, Without BTM)
1 Ignition and Start Switch Bolt [2x]
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
2 N.m (18 lb in)
2 Ignition and Start Switch

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  2. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (without KL9)Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (with KL9)
