Preliminary Procedures Remove the instrument panel lower trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Replacement (Chevrolet / GMC) . Remove the right instrument panel fuse block access hole cover. Refer to Instrument Panel Fuse Block Access Hole Cover Replacement (Chevrolet / GMC) .
1	Instrument Panel Outer Air Outlet Bolt (Qty: 4) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
2	Instrument Panel Outer Air Outlet Procedure Use a flat bladed plastic trim tool in order to release the retainer clips securing the outlet to the instrument panel carrier.

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten
2.5 N.m (22 lb in)

Procedure
Use a flat bladed plastic trim tool in order to release the retainer clips securing the outlet to the instrument panel carrier.
