Preliminary Procedures

  1. Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill L96) Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac N Fill L96) Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac N Fill L83 L86) Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill L83 L86) 
  2. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (Chevrolet and GMC)Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (Cadillac)
1 Radiator Outlet Hose Clamp (Qty: 3)
Procedure 
Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type 
2 Radiator Outlet Hose Retainer (Qty: 3)
Procedure 
Remove the radiator outlet hose retainers from the engine coolant fan rear shroud and the radiator outlet pipe bracket.
3 Radiator Outlet Hose

Procedure

  1. Fill the cooling system to the proper level.
  2. Inspect the cooing system for leaks.
