Front Floor Console Compartment Replacement (Cadillac)

Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the instrument panel lower trim plate applique. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Trim Plate Applique Replacement (Cadillac) .
2. Remove the front floor console front compartment, if equipped. Refer to Front Floor Console Front Compartment Replacement (Cadillac) .
3. Remove the front floor console center compartment, if equipped. Refer to Front Floor Console Center Compartment Replacement (Cadillac) .

Procedure

1. Use a flat bladed plastic trim tool in order to release the retainer clips securing the compartment to the front floor console assembly.
2. Disconnect all electrical connectors.
3. Transfer components as necessary.
NOTE:

Make certain the inertia latch is in the down position.
