Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the camshaft timing chain. Refer to Camshaft Timing Chain Replacement , or Camshaft Timing Chain Replacement (LV7) .

    Insert the oil pump drive chain tensioner pin (1) to the oil pump drive chain tensioner (2) to release the tension.

    Remove the oil pump drive chain cover bolt (1) and remove the oil pump drive chain cover (2).

    Remove the oil pump drive chain tensioner bolt (1) and remove the oil pump drive chain tensioner (2).

    Remove the oil pump drive chain sprocket bolt (1) and remove the oil pump drive chain sprocket (2).

  6. Remove the oil pump drive chain (3).
