Circuit/System Verification

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
  2. Verify DTC P206B, P206C, P206D is not set.
    • If any of the DTCs are set 
    1. Verify the scan tool parameter: Reductant Quality Sensor Status = OK
      • If not the specified state
        NOTE:

        This action should dissipate air bubbles or crystallized reductant that adversely affect the performance of the sensor.

        NOTE:

        If the reductant has been frozen, the vehicle should be parked inside overnight to allow the reductant system to warm to greater than 5°C (41°F).

        WARNING:

        Refer to Road Test Warning .

      1. Operate the vehicle under the following conditions: Accelerate/Stop - For greater than 10 min - Refer to step 2.2
      • Go to next step: If the specified state
    2. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data. - For greater than 7 min

      Verify the DTC does not set.

      • If the DTC sets

        Replace the component: B295 Reductant Quality Sensor

      • Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
    3. All OK.
    • Go to next step: If none of the DTCs are set 
  3. All OK.
