Circuit/System Verification

- Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Verify DTC P206B, P206C, P206D is not set.
- If any of the DTCs are set
- Verify the scan tool parameter: Reductant Quality Sensor Status = OK
- If not the specified state
- Operate the vehicle under the following conditions: Accelerate/Stop - For greater than 10 min - Refer to step 2.2
NOTE:This action should dissipate air bubbles or crystallized reductant that adversely affect the performance of the sensor.
NOTE:If the reductant has been frozen, the vehicle should be parked inside overnight to allow the reductant system to warm to greater than 5°C (41°F).
WARNING:Refer to Road Test Warning .
- Go to next step: If the specified state
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data. - For greater than 7 min
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets
Replace the component: B295 Reductant Quality Sensor
- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
- If the DTC sets
- All OK.
- Go to next step: If none of the DTCs are set
- All OK.
