The reductant quality sensor is located in the reductant tank and uses an ultrasonic signal to measure reductant fluid quality. The reductant quality sensor is part of an integrated Level Quality Temperature Sensor that is a smart device. It detects internal sensor failures and reports detected open or short circuits or internal faults to the reductant control module using serial data.
