Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON.
  2. Verify with a scan tool that no other DTC is set.
    • Go to next step: If no other DTC is set 
  3. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. It may be helpful to operate the vehicle within the conditions identified from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data
  4. Verify DTC P157A is not set.
    • If the DTC P157A is set. 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • Go to next step: If the DTC P157A is not set. 
  5. All OK.
