Circuit/System Verification

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Ignition ON.
  2. Verify that DTCs P16D7, P16D8, P16D9, P248A, P248C, or U010E are not set.
    • Go to next step: If none of the DTCs are set 
  3. Command the Reductant heater 1 and 2 ON and OFF with a scan tool and verify that Reductant Heater 1 and 2 Current parameters are between 0 - 25.5 A.
    • If not between 0 - 25.5 A. 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • Go to next step: If between 0 - 25.5 A 
  4. Verify that DTCs P10EF, P10F0, P10F1, or P10F2 are not set.
    • If any of the DTCs are set 
    • Test or replace the K115 Reductant Control Module and continue to the next step.
    • Go to next step: If none of the DTCs are set 
  5. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
  6. Verify the DTC does not set
    • If the DTC sets 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • Go to next step: If no DTC sets 
  7. All OK.
