Circuit/System Verification

Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
Verify no other DTCs are set.
- If other DTCs are set
  Refer to: Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle
- Go to next step: If no other DTCs are set
Verify DTC P062D is not set.
- If DTC P062D is set
1. Ignition - Cycle Off and On & Cycle On and Off
  Verify a click can be heard or felt at the component when the scan tool control function was commanded: KR75 Engine Controls Ignition Relay
  - If a click cannot be heard or felt
    Refer to: DTC P0685-P0687, P0689, P0690, P1682, P16A7, P16AF, or P16B3
  - If a click can be heard or felt - Replace the component: K20 Engine Control Module
- Go to next step: If DTC P062D is not set
Program the control module: K20 Engine Control Module
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets
  Replace the component: K20 Engine Control Module
- Go to next step: If the DTC does not set
All OK.
