Action Taken When the DTC Sets

DTCs P248A, P248B, P248C and P248D are Type A DTCs.

• The reductant injector is disabled.
• The reductant heaters are disabled.
• The selective catalyst reduction system is put in standby mode.
• The Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) Warning Strategy (Anti-Tampering) is activated.
