• The ignition voltage is greater than 11 V.
• The NOx sensor supply voltage is greater than 10.8 V.
• The engine speed is between 800-2500 RPM.
• The engine is operating under deceleration fuel cut-off.
• The exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve position is less than 10%.
• The NOx Sensor 1 Heater Operation parameter displays Allowed.
• The exhaust brake is not active.

DTC P2297 runs continuously when the above conditions are met.

DTC P2A00 runs once per ignition cycle when the above conditions are met.
